Word Trivia sends a daily message to my inbox
Usually, it’s a daily word definition however, each Friday it’s a longer “article” on the peculiarities of this language we call English. 
Today it was those pesky Homonyms that dot our linguistic landscape. I know I can hear the shouts in the background “They’re homophones”.  Yes, I suppose I’m out of step with current usage, but I never accepted the concept of Language Arts as opposed to teaching English.  After all, I’m not ashamed of speaking English and it’s a matter of self-respect to speak correctly.
Homonyms & synonyms too remain a problem for Seri (and no doubt Alexa).
