The phrase “Independent Random Event” is defined by Coach Fav.  When this concept is applied to Casino Gambling, it becomes much easier to appreciate why betting ploys often do not work.  This may be challenging to embrace, but Coach Fav believes that a recreational gambler should have  eyes open. 

To understand this concept, remember that all the dice rolls, rolling roulette balls, and slot machine pulls that went on before you arrived at the casino has nothing to do with what happens next.
