Ted Harty is scuba instructor from the Florida keys, who ditched the scuba tanks to become a Freediving instructor.  Ted is the founder of Immersion Freediving which he started in 2010.  He’s an instructor trainer for Performance Freediving, and is a past USA freediving record holder.  His deepest free dive is 279ft or 85 meters and his longest breath hold is 7 minutes.

 

He’s appeared on the Discovery Channel with Tim Kennedy, worked with Ben Greenfield and past CEO of Twitter Jack Dorsey.  He has a podcast  Freedive Live where he shares his expertise and covers the most common questions, he has been asked over the past decade of teaching freediving.  Ted creates daily freediving advice videos on all his social channels.
