Then, with Andrew Cuomo’s role as governor drawing to a close. What should we know about Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul, the woman next in line to finish out Cuomo’s term?

In other state news, it came as a shock when the Cuomo Administration suddenly announced that it would not be providing any COVID guidance this year for schools opening in September. Many are blasting the decision, but the private schools we represent were elated at the news.

Finally, the U.S. House of Representatives voted to remove a pro-life protection known as the Hyde Amendment from its annual fiscal plan. Will pro-life protections survive in the U.S. Senate?
