Vicky Hoang is a 2018 IBJJF World Champion, 2019 JJIF World Champion, 2019 IBJJF European Champion and on August 25th 2019 she was awarded her BJJ Black Belt under Jorge Britto at Toronto BJJ. We talk about Vicky's incredible self belief and commitment to being world class from day 1, quitting her job as a white belt, her journey from early tournament struggles to becoming a world champion, the physical cost she's paid for being an elite competitor, her perspective on BJJ as a female in a male dominated sport, and more!
