The CTQ guys bring in their friend cult-movie appreciator Brian Bender. As Bender explains how his movie tastes were invariably shaped by the seedy video store in his hometown in Indiana and educates the guys about the sci-fi franchise Dune with a “spicy” elevator pitch, Matty gets hip to “practical” visual FX, while Alex becomes enlightened to fine wordplay and even finer bass guitar-play.
