Dr. Omar Mesina is an obstetrics and gynelcology intern at University of California San Diego. He received  his bachelor of Arts from Harvard University and completed medical school at the University of California- San Francisco. We discuss his journey as a first gen, formerly undocumented, queer & latinx physician and the influence it has played in his advocacy work.
