Join us as we chat with Jhon about his views on mental toughness while working in law enforcement.
Jhon Dragocastano, affectionately known as Drago, is a dedicated and patriotic individual who has not only served his country but also continued to serve his community. He served honorably in the United States Marine Corps for six years before leaving due to injuries sustained whilst on active duty. Following this, he recognized his desire to continue serving his community and became a law enforcement officer in the state of North Carolina, where he has spent the last four years. Drago is a family man and devoted father to his two-year-old daughter, and he has continued his education while working in law enforcement. He has earned his Bachelor's degree in Homeland Security in 2020 and his Master's degree in Criminal Justice in 2022, and he is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Criminal Justice. Drago is passionate about being a leader in law enforcement and focused on decriminalizing veterans before they come into contact with the criminal justice system. He is a strong advocate for initiatives such as proactive policing, community policing, and crisis intervention training for law enforcement officers and first responders to de-escalate situations. In his free time, Drago spends time with his family and friends, practices jiu-jitsu, and works on becoming a more proficient marksman. Drago is also an active member of the North Carolina Police Benevolent Association and the North Carolina Tactical Officers Association.
