PART ONE (see episode 18 for part two)
My guest in this episode is assistant professor of Sociology at Molloy College in Long Island, NY, Michael Rosino. His teaching and research interests include race and ethnicity, political sociology, social movements, media, and human rights.

His first book, Debating the Drug War: Race, Politics, and the Media, was released on March 16, 2021.

His work has appeared in venues such as Social Currents, Sociology of Race and Ethnicity, Ethnic and Racial Studies, and Deviant Behavior.

Having a life long deep interest in politics, government and economics I have been looking forward to this conversation for a while. We talk about racial and political meanings, the drug war and it's impacts on racial oppression, the possible effects of ending the drug war, political rhetoric and it's role in destroying democracy and much much more.

Lets meet Michael and get the conversation going!
