Episode 17 -- Keeping It Simple & Doing What Makes You Feel Good (w/Amanda Mills)
This week I have Amanda Mills on the podcast. Amanda is a Certified Barre and Cycle instructor, Personal Trainer and Holistic Nutritionist to be. She has the most adorable little girl at home and a second baby on the way!
We chat all about how Amanda approaches fitness with her clients (both virtually and in person). We dive into the benefits of a holistic health approach and how those habits lead to sustainability.
Amanda has also made an effort to introduce her daughter to a wide variety of foods (check out her Instagram for some hilarious food fails!). We talked about how she went about doing that and why she felt it was important to her daughter’s future views towards her own nutrition.
Towards the end Amanda touches on how she has been feeling in her second pregnancy and how she is approaching her nutrition and fitness in this experience. Spoiler: it doesn’t involve lying on the couch all day and eating potato chips! But don’t worry, we give you some delicious alternatives that will actually contribute towards you feeling a little bit better too !
