Kent served 23 years in the Field Artillery, six as an enlisted (regular) where he was the rank of Sgt and then became an Officer throught the Officer Candidate school. He retired as a Major. 

Kent deployed twice to Iraq. The first deployment was in relative safety, however the second he was deployed with 87th Infantry as a fire support officer. We talk about the differences in the deployments, but we also talk about the struggles faced with veterans upon their return, as well as the stigma sometimes attached to veterans.
