This week Tom tells Josh about one of baseball's more obscure record holders: Mike Marshall. He used his knowledge of kinesiology to become a famously durable "bullpen ace" in the 1970's. Marshall eventually faded into obscurity as he had a famously prickly personality, he spent some time getting a Ph.D, and was a labor activist (which potentially led to him getting blackballed). After his MLB career, he released a bunch of poorly produced YouTube videos where he extolled a super funky pitching motion that he insisted would eliminate arm injuries altogether.
