Turns out, our home town is Sweden's Witch Central. Listen as we explore the sordid and somewhat shameful happenings in medieval Mora. We can see how superstition turns into mass hysteria, which then results in what can only be called insanity. I feel privileged and sorrowful, to live in the location of such an important, yet little mentioned, part of Swedish history. I wonder, in todays climate, how long it will be, before we start looking for retroactive justice for the victims of these and all other witch trials in Europe. Over 3000 innocent people in all, tortured and killed in the name of religion. Why didn't they just go and start a war, like they usually do? Fucking religion.
