Oscar Cruz is enrolled in the TCAT Medical Assisting program, where he's learning how to work in a supportive role in medical facilities, including clinics and hospitals. Oscar describes what motivated him to seek this training; when a family member went to the hospital but couldn't get documents translated into Spanish, he realized he could help fill a vital role for people like his family. In a short time, he's become a campus leader in SkillsUSA and is learning to be humble about what he doesn't know ... because when you know where your knowledge gaps are, you can work to fill them.
