Welcome, one and all, to Out of the Abyss! Your hosts Lot, Pip, and Jake are back with something... a little different.

We thought it might be fun to take a look at some Paranormal Fiction (Usually we cover Paranormal Fact, obviously), and what better way to start than with the modern equivalent of penny dreadfuls- The SCP Foundation. For anyone unaware, this is a website where people can write stories that all fit within a sitewide narrative- that the stories are files held by a secret organization that is dedicated to Securing and Containing anomalies. SCP stands for 'Secure, Contain, Protect', although their ability to do any of these things varies from author to author. 

Come take a quick peek with us as we look at a few of the fictional groups within this universe, as well as a couple of examples of articles on the site!
