PODcakes | Episode 17 | The Crash Debrief

On Thursday, May 30, 2024, at approximately 09:23, on Oregon State Highway 78 near Mile Post 26, Papa Cakes and I were involved in a motorcycle crash that was by far the most violent experience of my life totaling both of our bikes.
Overwhelmed by the tremendous support and numerous messages, I've found it challenging to keep up with all the responses. So, Critter, Papa Cakes, Shawn, and I gathered to share our perspectives on the accident and the aftermath that followed. We learned a great deal about the subsequent events, and I realized that my condition was more serious than I had initially thought. Critter and Shawn have been remarkable, offering assistance and care throughout the event and in the subsequent weeks.
What I anticipated was a brief 30-45 minute PODcakes episode extended into 2 hours and 20 minutes. The details, stories, and facts that emerged were too significant to cut short. I am immensely grateful that we are all here today to discuss this unfortunate event.
WARNING: This episode talks about a motorcycle accident in detail. This episode also contains foul language that may be unsuitable for a younger audience. Viewer discretion is advised.
