Two movies titled The Program enter, only one will leave (with its title) as Herman Davis and Robert Rau watch a football movie that totally isn’t about Florida State and a Sheryl Crow-less Lance Armstrong biopic to determine which movie is The Program.
Being two dudes, Herman and Rob like dude things, and that includes sports movies. Since the Lance Armstrong doping scandal movie is available on Amazon Prime, and someone figured out how to upload the other one to Youtube with Spanish subtitles, this seemed like a nice break from the unwatchable movies Herman has had to endure.
This might be the first time both movies tried to say their title at least 20 times. The ’90s college football movie constantly talked about how they needed to work around all the bad stuff in order to help “The Program.” And instead of calling it “Needle Party,” Lance Armstrong referred to his endless cheating as “The Program.” This also gave Herman a chance to break out his hot take on using Lance as a first name.
Which movie will keep the title The Program? Listen if you dare.
