It's October 20th, National Youth Confidence Day, so grab your sippy cup of Iced Java for this week's Coffee Connections. Today we are brewing a conversation with Lily Pabian, the Executive Director for We Love BuHi. They are a community-based project developed to raise awareness about their people and places through photographs, testimonials, and narratives. They open a lens to how current events impact us here and now. As advocates of Buford Highway in Atlanta, they believe that individual stories should be treasured and told as an important way to preserve the area’s collective culture of multi-cultures, to ensure its existence for generations to come.Coffee Connections is Insights with Innovators! The series is made up of short conversations with nonprofit innovators in the Atlanta area to share their missions, chat about their current successes and challenges, and close with them recommending a future guest!
