Although he is sent primarily to the covenant people of Israel, Jeremiah is also appointed to deliver the oracles of the Lord to the Gentiles, to those who are not a part of God’s covenant with Israel through Moses. Besides prophecies to and about Egypt and Babylon, Jeremiah also has messages for many of the other surrounding nations. Besides reviewing prophecies of Jeremiah that have come true, we discuss the prophet’s prayer life and ways that we can use themes from the book to help our own prayer lives.
