Thoughts from your host…
It’s been an odd spring for the podcast. On the one hand, there were films like PERSONAL SHOPPER that I wanted to talk about, but hadn’t received a wide release yet. On the other hand, there were films like this week’s selection that were released all over the world before they got to me in Toronto…and yet arranging an episode for it proved tricky!
I guess what I’m saying is that it’s times like this that I’m thankful for whatever listenership I still have left.
It’s also times like this that I’m thankful for the intelligent guests that drop by the show and the energy they bring…especially today’s guest. If I was smart, I’d get her on more often.
Thanks for tuning into episode one-hundred-seventy-four.
