Produced by http://Fastpitch.TV - This week I am bringing you part 1 of Kim Dunlop-Borders Fastpitch Softball pitching clinic. Kim gave this clinic at Softball Con.
http://SoftballJunk.com is a great resource to find the perfect fastpitch softball bat for you!
Kim Dunlop-Borders speaks on proper pitching mechanics. She fist mentions to make sure that when a pitcher makes her motions that all the movements feel natural. Natural movements help with proper mechanics and prevent injuries from occurring as often.
She also speaks about the glove hand. A softball pitcher must be aware of her glove hand as well! If a pitchers glove hand is anywhere but in front of her body then the softball pitcher is not focusing all of her power forward to get the ball over the plate to the catcher.
Coach Kim also mentions that a pitcher's balance is important. To maintain good balance is great to make sure that all pitches are consistent.
