For the First Sunday in Lent, Sunday, 6 March 2022Reverend Shelley McVea shares a secret: She loves Lent.  Lent is the season of deprivation, as many Christians choose to give up something they love in order to be in solidarity with Jesus who went into the desert and fasted for 40 days.  At the same time, Lent is a time of great promise, the first promise is that of abundance.
