Christianity has a lot of baggage. Many folks walk away from Christianity because of religious trauma. Or because of the ways in which it is tangled up in colonization, imperialism, patriarchy, and a plethora of other forms of oppression. In such a pluralist age, where Christendom has been such a vile reality, why would we still call ourselves Christians? Part one in a two part series.
