In Podcast Episode 179, I converse with  National Master Gabriel Ewing, Premier Chess Instructor and Programmer. Gabe has a Bachelor of Arts and Masters in Computer Science from Case Western Reserve University. He recently started teaching for us after he left Google, where he was a full-time Software engineer for four years. He made National Master when he tied for first place in the 2014 World Open U-2200 section. 

We speak about his drive to follow his passion of chess, the parallels between chess and programming, recommendations for winning big tournaments, chess pedagogy lessons and more.
