In this episode of Remarkable Tales podcast, we speak to Griffith University Communications graduate and now Communications Manager of Donate Life - Alana Jones. Since graduating from Griffith, Alana has worked her way up through different government jobs to finally secure her dream job as Communications Manager for DonateLife, Victoria. It's her dream job, and a way of trying to ensure that no other family experiences what she did. Her mother died at the age of 41 after waiting seven years for a transplant, when Alana was just a teenager. Alana now hopes her work will increase the number of people who receive a donation and in-turn reduce the number families who lose a loved one whilst they are on the waiting list.
