Welcome to the 18th episode of Let’s Unpack That! We’re two friends, Cal and Chevall, who decided to start a podcast where we analyze media under a critical, appreciative lens. To start, we’re reading the legendary manga Berserk together for the first time and recording our reactions, analysis and BSing about the manga from the late Kentaro Miura, who died May 6, 2021 at the age of 54.
This week, Cal and Chevall talk about Chevall joining the Married Man Club, Elden Ring’s Berserk obsession and the new they/them on the block in Guilty Gear Strive. We then dive into the next two chapters of Casca and Guts’ battle with Adon’s ambush, full of more gore and even less good writing.
