In this episode Tara talks to Deianenc Damian Heine Suner. With a PhD in Genetics, Damian currently does research in Molecular Biology and Genetics on the island. Damian tells us about his parents, the Deia Artist Mark Heine, a German Jew, who found himself in New York and then Deia after WWII, and his mother Francesca Suner, a Mallorcan school teacher who grew up on the island of Cabrera during the Spanish Civil War. Damian also shares fascinating insights into his work as a scientist.
