In this episode, we discuss some thoughts on the complex question of whether or not queerness is an affliction. Note: After a quick google search, it becomes clear that the statement that the Catholic church banned the tritone, or "the devil's tone," from music is actually a commonly-shared myth. The tritone wasn't often used in music at the time because it was considered a displeasing sound not because it was banned.
