Lauren-Marie Taylor always wanted to be a veterinarian. However things changed very early in her life while on stage, performing in a production of "Oklahoma." After being seen by a talent agent, she starred in television commercials until 1981 happened.

That year she played the role of Vickie in Friday the 13th Part II: the sweet innocent girl next door who was trying her best to show off her "bad" side and seduce the character of Mark, all before being slayed by Jason Voorhees.
