Episode 18 Mental Health in the black community needs to be discussed openly

Listen Later

The Black community suffers from an increased rate of mental health concerns, including anxiety and depression. And don't feel we have the voice to be heard when we express what is going on with us.

This weeks episode will focus on how the black community has this stigma when it comes to mental health illnesses and also being afraid to be called "crazy" if they are experiencing these illnesses. It is alright to talk to someone if you are dealing with these issues you are not crazy and nothing is wrong with you. If you feel you are indeed going through this dont be afraid to reach out for help.

Enjoy !
