Episode 18 - Trusting Myself Again: A Story of Midlife Courage & Solo Adventure

Listen Later

In this deeply personal solo episode, I take you with me on a journey across parts of Europe, a journey that became far more than a vacation.
From walking alone through Paris in a torrential downpour, to standing barefoot beside a turquoise lake in the Swiss Alps, to reconnecting with my brother in Munich after four long years… this trip became a doorway back to myself.
At 48, I found myself in a quiet chapter, my daughter grown, the house calmer, the pace slowing , and with that quiet came the honest question so many women face in midlife:
Who am I now, and what do I want?
This episode is the story of what happened when I listened to that question and said yes to my first solo adventure. It’s a story about courage, curiosity, unexpected emotions, and the life-changing moments that arrive when we stop rushing, stop performing, and start trusting ourselves again.
If you are a woman in transition, craving space, longing to reconnect with yourself, or wondering if you’re allowed to want more, this episode will feel like a deep exhale.
Come walk with me through Freiburg, Luzern, the Swiss Alps, Munich, and Paris… and discover what happens when a woman gives herself permission to wander, expand, and come home changed.
