The more we do a certain thing the more comfortable we become.

The challenge is, the more comfortable we become. the more likely we are to overlook something and make an error.

Kind of seems strange doesn't it? The more you do something and the more comfortable you get, the more likely you are to make a mistake?

That is because we no longer take all of the precautions necessary.

This happened to me last week. During a very important and serious interview, I overlooked one of the essential parts of recording my podcast.

The result, the quality of the podcast suffered and I felt that I let the listeners and the guest down. Because, although his message got out and it was clear, the quality of my recording wasn't there.

All because I was comfortable in what I was doing.
