Hercules. Xena: Warrior Princess. The latter show in particular was an icon of late 90’s pop culture and was one of the first sex symbols for young queer women everywhere. My guest today had a recurring role on both shows as the Greek Goddess Aphrodite. She has also been seen on Party of Five, The Red Shoe Diaries, The Wire, and as Woody Harrelson’s wife in the Sunchaser, her first feature film. His latest project is the horror-thriller What Death Leaves Behind. She is Alexandra Tydings, and I spoke with her just yesterday.
