But I did receive an email notification that my Bosworth spindle is on the way!! SEWING The Ultimate Shift DressSew Over It My original plan was to make version 2, with ruffled sleeves. While I liked the idea of them, it didn't really suit my style. But when I removed the ruffles, the sleeves were a bit frayed. So I'm trying to fix it by adding contrasting bindings to the sleeves and neckline. Overall, I'm not too thrilled with the project. Having sewn with jersey and double gauze, I almost don't ever want to sew garments out of cotton, again. It's very stiff. And while the pattern is adorable, it's not really my style. MAIL Maria from Stitched In Sweden Podcast finished my Lattice Shawl!! She also sent along some other wonderful goodies, including a set of Knit Pro Zings and adorable sheep fabric. Magdalena from the Wolff und Schafe Podcast sent me an amazing care package; two skeins of her hand-dyed yarn, and some delicious chocolate. Subscribe to this blog.
