Episode 189 - Red Thorn - Vertigo Comic's Lost God
In 2016, Vertigo Comics began a 13-issue mini series entitled "Red Thorn." This comic book series follows Isla Mackintosh, a woman who has returned to her Irish roots to learn what happened to her missing sister, Lauren. Along the way we learn that she has a unique ability of affecting reality through her drawings. While this is going on, an ancient demi-god plots his escape from the prison where he has been held for about 2,000 years. For this episode, Mari and Brandon finish up DC Horror month by discussing their thoughts regarding "Red Thorn."
