About Jessamine:

Jessamine Mathew is a lawyer who joined SASHA to work in a space which she believes could bring about a revolution in workplace equality. She has a strong background in Indian labour and employment law, which brings added perspective in advising clients on anti-sexual harassment measures. She is deeply interested in writing on prevention of sexual harassment and workplace issues from a human rights and welfare point of view. She edits and reviews ‘Voice: The SASHA Newsletter’, a monthly periodical released by SASHA, with articles on various themes and topics relating to preventing, prohibiting and redressing sexual harassment at the workplace. Jessamine is enrolled as an Advocate at the Bar Council of Karnataka. She has a BA LLB (Hons.) from the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata.
