We speak with Andrew Jago who has been both an accountant and a financial planner in practice.

These days, Andrew works in the capacity of “third arm” to accountants and planners, taking on assignments with their clients in areas outside the referrer’s expertise.

We talk about this aspect of enlisting assistance to extend the scope of one’s service offering and the benefits of referring to complementary practitioners. Interestingly there are differences in how accountants and financial planners tend to view making such referrals.
