We get it, no one reads the news anymore. Print is dead, digital is dying, the future is viral tiktok journalism, yada yada yada. We’ve all heard the excuses a thousand times, which is why we’re here to summarize everything that’s happening and give you our takes on some recent events from the end of August through mid-September. Yes, we skip over a rousing discussion of Kanye’s Donda album, but that’s only to make room for plenty of talk about the OnlyFans kerfuffle (and reversal), Afghani women, Texas abortion bans, abortion in other countries, Whatsapp privacy concerns, the Guardian’s Judith Butler interview, dress codes, and Joel’s concerns about that Matrix 4 trailer (yes, it’s relevant to our podcast).
