In our nineteenth episode we visit one of our favorite actors in his hilarious film from 1997, “Flubber.” We both love anything with Robin Williams so you can bet we loved this movie. However, Avery agrees this film is definitely aimed for a younger crowd as it is beyond believable in some parts and has a lot of slapstick humor. She remembers liking it a little more as a kid, but still finds herself laughing at the ridiculousness. We both forgot what an airhead the Professor is and can’t believe he could forget his wedding THREE times. We walk through the movie scene by scene and laugh at how things were explained using “science.” Even though we had to stretch our imaginations many times to make sense of the movie, the silliness and Disney magic still won us over.
