As I celebrate one year of The Grace-Filled Classroom, I can't think of a more fitting message to share.

Have you ever looked back on your life and realized God was preparing you long before you could see His plan?

In this deeply personal episode, I reflect on how a cross-country move and the search for the right school for my daughter became an opportunity to look back on nearly twenty years of teaching, homeschooling, parenting, and growing in my faith.

As I looked back, I realized something beautiful:

God never wasted a single season.

From my first kindergarten classroom and relationship-centered teaching to homeschooling, teaching in a homeschool co-op, substitute teaching, and discovering schools that reflected the philosophy God had been quietly growing in my heart all along, every experience had a purpose. Every season was preparing me for the next.
