After a close encounter with the legendary beast, World War 2 pilot Koichi Shikishima must face both a radioactively evolved Godzilla and his own post-war survivors guilt. This latest entry in the franchise takes us back to Godzilla’s 1950’s roots as a humble metaphor for nuclear deterrence and anti-war sentiments.
