Heward is a veteran of nearly 400 NHL games, and his pro career spanned 18 seasons! Upon retirement, Heward took up coaching, and played an integral part in the Swift Current Broncos capturing the 2018 WHL Championship and the Vancouver Giants making it to overtime in Game 7 of the 2019 WHL Championship Series.
