When you suggest a movie, and find out that it is not the movie you were thinking of, you get the 1979 movie Phantasm. Join hosts Dan and Tyler as they discuss their lessons learned, if the title matches the contents of the movie, and the awkward Tall Man transformations. This one is crazy, folks. There are flying metallic spheres that drill into victims’ heads, Jawa like creatures that are slaves to the Tall Man, and a ridiculous number of guns. Then there is Reggie, an ice cream truck man with a sick nasty 1970s ponytail and sideburns. We still can’t get over his hair choice. Fun fact: there are five movies in this series and the latest one came out in 2016! Reggie and Mike are still going strong and still hunting the tall man. Do they finally take him down? Let’s hope so because Tyler doesn’t think we need any more of these damn movies. Spoiler alert, Reggie still has a ponytail.
