On this episode we have Abhishek Mohan and Shrey Jain, founders of Hempstreet, India’s First retail venture in the ayurvedic cannabis sector. They are revolutionizing the Indian medical cannabis industry through their research to retail approach to tackle mass aliments.

Hempsteet has become the first entity in the medical cannabis sector to receive a Biotechnology Ignition Grant (BIG) from BIRAC of the department of biotechnology joining the ranks of past winners such as Bharat Biotech.

Shrey and Abhishek met at Technology 9 labs where they built NirogStreet a B2B2C technology led platform to streamline the supply chain of ayurvedic services and medicines which is now Asia’s largest network of Ayurvedic doctors. While working with ayurvedic doctors to find alternatives to allopathic treatments they saw that cannabis in ayurveda was common ingredient to relieve pain.
