On this episode we dive into the history of Standfast with the two people that were int the band from beginning to end. We talk about all of their releases, Rochester and Fairport Hardcore, as well as the infamous 2001 Summer Tour with Standfast and Building on Fire.

When I first got into hardcore I witnessed some pretty wild events. There were fights with skinheads, suburban dudes acting as "crews," countless stage dives, a full scale riot, black eyes, a broken nose, and a broken window at a gig in a second story loft courtesy of a guitar amp. There was also the time we all had to wait it out because someone pulled a gun out in the parking lot. This all transpired within my first two years in the scene. Needless to say I was hooked. This podcast will serve as not only a memory of all of those events, but also a look into the future.
