*To our first responders - especially our nursing communities and all involved in fighting this pandemic.

Our topic this week:   “Stop Crying; Encourage Yourself; & Pursue and Recover” — it is brought to you by: Minister Adrian Miller of Benton Harbor, Michigan. Minister Miller will be teaching from King James Version:

1 Samual 30:1-19; 2 Corinthians 12:9; Matthew 17:20; 6:33. Reference was given to: (Deuteronomy 31:6).

Minister Miller started his teaching with a memory verse for us to meditate on; Deuteronomy 31:6, that we should —

“Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”

This lesson encouraged us to return to faith even while standing in the light of the things that may challenges that faith; to turn to God and become vested in His teachings even as trouble and stress makes a fervent move to divide and concur us.

Minister Miller spoke of David and although there are many things that discouraged David he never lost faith. The context of this lesson provided the clarity we needed to conceptionalize King David’s story, and see how it fits into our duties as christians—to listen and obey God, and to understand it is not within our power to deny any season of our Lord and savior.

  • It was also duly explained the importance of our purpose in God and how to use that purpose to lift others up, even when our troubles overwhelm us, even as they become part of what we are avidly attempting to overcome; it is for us to remains compliant in our highest duties to help others, irrespective of how those troubles may affect our own lives. Remaining centered and focused is necessary if we are to conform to the goodness in God.
  • Minister Miller placed great emphasis in explaining that trouble is  coming and that we must respond as christians and deal with all   trouble accordingly, why, because it is directly proportionate to the end results, a means to an end, and as we resurface that response directly affects how quickly we emerge, and also, what we look like in the aftermath, amen.
  • This led Minister Miller to explain, how to recover our joy and fear, and not to be afraid of anyone, because God is with us, and because God is of the highest probity, we can be assured that He will honor his word.
  • God orchestrates our steps, and as witnessed in the book of Samuel, King David despite his commitment and loyalty and service to God,  was hated and challenged by the very men he led, it was their inability to see the benefits of their own faith rather than focusing on their loss and sacrifices. The Minister then explains, after returning from fighting alongside King David, their disdain quickly overcame them, because they were led by sight, absent of faith.
      • This led them to considered stoning David and Minister Miller discussed how analogous their intentions personified a lack of faith and supports their strong temporal laodicean to their worldly attachments. Such as this, which was witnessed by the velleity of their volition, they turn against a chosen leader who led them through a fierce battle.
          • Minister Miller also comparing this to mother and daughter; father; and son; sister and brother…etc. and the often disdain that infiltrates those relationships. How he maneuvered through this lesson is very analogous both biblically and in the secular, contemporary world.
  • Just a little faith is the promise to salvation, our strength against principalities and all the evil that insist on condemning our souls. However, we often forget that, and as Minister Miller pointed that important fact out, it clearly exemplified how letting the enemy in, if we would take heed in the word of God, it empowers us to defeat the enemy. If not, we are predestined to engage with the wrong spirits, and it rest in our characters to then test faith a mist our bridled connection with God's word. Minister Miller then explains how such an attitude is a symptomatic defeat that allows the enemy to control, divide, conquer, then win, and sometimes with eternal consequences.
      • During this lesson he staunchly explains that principalities are dictating our actions whenever we fail to follow God. These mannerisms and conduct are destructive and a harmful distraction, and throughout it all, we forget about what God want us to focus on, thus, allowing satan to control our situations, to separate us, and to bring destruction into every part of our existence.
  • In the mist of this, Minister Miller reach in and help us understand that being selfish is not godly. That we have to step out of self and focus on what the kingdom of God and his word is commanding us to do. To separate ourselves from complacency and to think about the welfare of others. He placed great emphasis on this. His line of teaching, showed us a great outcome, how to be better people; christians; and hearers of God's word. It help us to see where we are aiding trouble to fester in our life with Christ and what we need to do correct our inactions, for us to encourage ourselves to lean not to man but to restore our faith through God's word. In doing so, we must pray and trust in prayer and believe in all the promises of God and in his guidance.
  • To use our post christ contemporary weapons, too ‘stop crying; encourage yourself; and pursue and recover. As explained in his lesson text, our decision may require us to separate ourselves from those who are a hindrance, allowing ourselves to be stripped of the thing that are holding us back, like jealousy; envy; pride; or negative influence and all the things that distracts us and takes us away from an enriched relationship and the will of Jesus.
  • But how we respond to trouble and use God's promise, strictly depend on our relationship with Christ. Minister Miller explains that there are no secrets here, that God has given us the ability to bind the things on this earth which are problematic and don’t lineup with God's doctrine, and as we exercise faith through prayer and supplication, it gives us the power to move mountains and bind those things that stand in our way.
