King David was anointed on three separate occassions. I Samuel 16:13, II Samuel 2:4 and II Samuel 5:3. Yet, it wasn't until that third anointing and possibly 20 years after the first anointing that he became King of all Israel. Life takes twists and turns on this journey, but God is faithful. If He promised you anything, we can rest assure that He is faithful to bring it to fruition. Trust God and the progression of the process.
