On episode nineteen I yarn with Tyler, theatre kid and hair stylist extraordinaire. Tyler shares his story on growing up in small town New Zealand, and his journey towards self-acceptance and living as the most authentic version of himself. He talks about what the "coming out" process was like growing up, and the continual "coming out" that seems to be demanded by our society. From the difficulties of navigating high school, to substance use and trauma, Tyler talks about his experiences in an incredibly open and vulnerable way and I am so grateful to Tyler for sharing this part of himself with us.
Content warning: this episode mentions suicide, and substance abuse and addiction
