We have two guests this episode, Shauna by phone, and Vic by email, and both guests are transitioning, in different ways, as is The Dream Show.

Shauna* is transitioning careers, and is about to fully launch her new business within the month. She brings a dream that begins with a live and kicking three-month-old baby, and ends with a doctor and nurse cradling a dead baby. In the dream, Shauna felt she belonged in their world where she could feel their pain and offer meaningful help, but she was uncomfortable about the dream ending in this way.

Vic is transitioning from female to male, and brings a dream about cutting short a journey up a rocky hill because “I am missing my parents”. A black storm cloud approaches and the dream ends with the parents gone from Vic’s life.

You’ll hear Shauna and I exploring her dream, relating it to her life, and discovering insights that help her to transition into her new career in the best possible way.

You’ll hear my interpretation of Vic’s dream, highlighting the perspective shift that will free Vic to move through conflict and embrace full transition.

We’re introducing a ‘dream snap’ segment into The Dream Show. This is a short segment at the end of the show where I read out a dream sent in by a listener and give a short overview of its meaning, or tips on how to approach understanding it. Vic’s dream, and the email dream we will include in the next episode, are a little longer than a dream snap, so in this episode and the next, we are transitioning.
