On the Third Sunday of Advent, commonly known as Gaudete Sunday, Deacon Mike Krall recalled a rough homily he had two years ago while preaching in Spanish.

While this homily was a struggle, the joy of Gaudete Sunday and the rejoicing that is just on the horizon made all the trouble that he experienced, and that we all constantly experience in different forms, worth it in the end.
